It came from the abbreviation, "Gurkey" which on it's own also means "scaredy cat". It involved the implementation of "Turkey" from the simile "running fast like a turkey"

Mud Turkey

An offensive and quite possibly racist term used to degrade people native to mesoamerica. Mud refers to the mud they might use to build houses and towns. Turkey refers to the headdresses made from feathers that the native tribespeople were observed to occasionally wear.

Thanksgiving Turkey
