The rapid consumption of an energy drink (rockstar, redbull, monster) to keep one going. Particularly before going out to drink, or when recovering from a long night of drinking.

Dustin, I had too much to drink last night. I need a boost if we're gonna go out drinkin' again tonight.

To be amped or hyphy, usually while under the influence of drugs AND alcohol. Can also be used to describe a situation that, while still enjoyable, is close to getting out of control.

1. Brahh, I was so boosted last night. Little Johnny stole a handle from his dad and some Vicodin from his mom and we got hella buzzed.

2. Did you hear about that party last night? All my boys came back from Radford and we threw the most boosted rager Nova has ever seen.
