Tying up or restraining your consenting sexual partner.
Usually the restraining is done by the dom (dominant) and the sub (submissive) is the one restrained.
Sexually arousing for some, as the exchange of power is exciting, and the helplessness of being bound allows some people to really let go and enjoy themselves. Also, having complete control over a willing partner is very arousing. There are many reasons people enjoy this.

Bondage is often used in conjuction with punishment/pain play, but it is NOT the same thing!!!

The James Bond Effect (also called 007 Effect) is a theory in propaganda and political circles, whereby the first detailed opinion/summary that someone hears or reads on a particular topic, is the one they are most likely to adopt.

Called the James Bond Effect - in reference to the James Bond character - as there is highly anecdotal evidence that the first actor someone sees play the chacater of James Bond, is the one they prefer (i.e. someone who saw their first Bond film in the 1960's will tell you Sean Connery played the best Bond, however those that saw their first Bond film in the 1990's will tell you Pierce Brosnan is the best).

John: Yeah, he was let go last week. The wierd thing is our Manager keeps going on about why he got fired - showing me emails and letters. If you ask me, that's just wrong - that's confidential information.

The Lesbian Bondage Fiasco! 

An indie band formed in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. Members include Kurtis White (drums/vocals), Cody Zevenbergen (guitar/harmonica/vocals), Steve Seguin (vocals/bastard tea jug filled with rocks/guitar) and Nathan Krulicki (vocals). Their music can be found on their facebook fan page. They were founded after Cody viewed an episode of the daily show in which Jon Stuart told him that he'd be very disappointed if the band was not formed.
