Sad Archie

A reference from the popular space game, Endless Sky, "Sad Archie" is a reference for when a band intentionally finishes a big concert with one of their slower songs, with the intent being to calm down a chaotic crowd. This can help prevent overly-excited fans from releasing their energy in potentially destructive ways. A Sad Archie typically utilizes a slow mellow song written to inspire a melancholy feeling, either by its prose or by its melody. Often both.

In the game Endless Sky, Sad Archie is a song played by the aptly named band "There Might Be Riots" at the end of each concert to prevent damage to public property.
"I went to the AC/DC concert last night and they totally pulled a Sad Archie. Their last song was Ride On and by the end I was in tears."

The Komaeda Archetype

In a similar vein to a Tumblr Sexyman, The Komaeda Archetype is a character comparable to Nagito Komaeda from the DanganRonpa (who this is named after) franchise. Komaeda got his fame in the fanbase from his tragic past and his personality easy to be pure tween goo-goo eyes bait. However, due to the writing of his character and the games in general, Komaeda is relatively divisive amongst the fanbase with fans either loving him or hating him.
Typically, a character who falls under The Komaeda Archetype fits under these fours tropes:
- The character plays a major role in the story
- The character plays an antagonistic role but is not originally presented as such.
- The character is morally grey; they have a justification for their actions and/or reason for redemption
- The fanbase of the character’s source material is split on their options regarding them; fans either adore them or despise them
Although more factors can contribute to a character being a Komaeda, these four are the most important determining who does or does not count as a Komaeda.
(This concept originated from Tumblr user @HellTabby)
Honestly, I wish I could like character name, but you can really tell that they were written with The Komaeda Archetype in mind.

Drive by Architect

A software architect that comes up with overly complex, fragile designs that look great on paper but suck to work with. The architect subsequently bails before engineering teams start working with their 'design' and find all the design flaws, poorly thought out ideas, and parts that lack any common sense so they don't need to fix any of it.
Engineer1: We're way behind schedule because this system is so complex and fragile! Who designed this crap?
Engineer2: I forget her name. She bailed right before coding started.
Engineer1: We got drive by architected!
