ASAP - An acronym that stands for "As Slow As Possible"
ASAP is used when someone wants a task done deliberately and carefully (hence SLOW as possible), giving them more time to handle other priorities first. This allows them to appear more in control of their workload and avoid seeming overwhelmed to their boss, subordinates, friends, etc . By stretching out the timing, they can address your finished task when things are quieter, making everything look more manageable, making you both look good.
