The opposite of being innovative. Going back to doing things in an old fashioned way or in a way that has not previously brought success, or has brought failure.

Shopper: "I'd like to trade in this iPod touch, please, and exchange it for that Walkman."
Sales Advisor: "So you want to trade in the latest technology for something obsolete? That's unnovative!"

Something ignorant guys who flies a Confederate flag and call everyone "brainwashed" would say; essentially, the same thing as "invalid," but a lot dumber.

Confederate flag flier:"I'm not gonna argue with someone who's brainwashed and doesn't even know history.. Ur argument is unvalid."
Someone actually educated: "*Invalid, shitlord."

Adjective to describe the way someone communicates when they are not kissing up or trying to con you. Simple. No bull. Like wood that is in its natural state without varnish.

I told the CEO the unvarnished truth because Dave in sales would not.

My personal style is more unvarnished --not a face man or a yes man.
