n. A misallaneous game that exists only as an idea or proposition. The act of shed can never be followed through - only proposed and accepted. May also be classed as a sport. Noun, singular or collective: A chain (or single branch of a chain) of large DIY warehouse shops occupying ugly, aircraft-hangar-like buildings - sheds. Wickes, Homebase, B&Q are sheds.

That little ironmongers on the corner didn't have one.

A term used to describe a person that goes out of their way to impress people. Commonly referred to as a tool, a shed is much worse and much more extreme. A shed is a bunch of tools put together. Short for toolshed. Someone that wears flowered shirts, laughs really loud, or drinks beer with fruit in it.

That hawaiian shirt wearing dude in the corner, drinking that stupid pink drink is such a shed!
