12ed-13lue back in 2005 had it spot on. The original "pocket rocket" was indeed Henri Richard of the HABS/Montreal Canadiens. Since then I have NEVER heard a term so abused and misused.

A sentence...yes thats easy... the pocket rocket scored on the blackhawks twice in game 7 in 1971 to win the Stanley Cup. (hence I hate that term pocket rockets)
