Eddie Guerrero was a great talker and a great wrestler who was taken from us much too soon. Already a one time WWE Champion, Guerrero was scheduled to win the World Heavyweight Championship on Smackdown this week. That show was to be taped on November 13, the day of his death.
Aside from being a great wrestler, he was a husband and a father. He also overcame a battle with alcohol and drug addiction. This month marked four years of sobriety for him.
Eddie Guerrero was a hero to the Latino community and he was the only Latin star to win a top heavyweight title in a major US wrestling company.
