Fauxpology

When you falsely apologize to someone to make you look like the bigger person, even though you don't mean a word of it.

Often used by pro athletes, movie stars, and politicians when they get caught cheating, making absurd comments, or get arrested for drugs.

After Tiger Woods slept with that stripper he had to offer a public Fauxpology.

Fauxposal

The act of proposing to a person to whom you have no intention of actually getting married.

Cynthia threatened to break up with John if he didn't commit to her. John had no intention of marrying Cynthia, but knew a fauxposal would to buy him at least another year or two.

fauxprah

A woman who thinks she is like Oprah. This woman is usually in her mid to late 40's - mid 50's, pretends to be concerned about others, spends money that she does not have to show pretend wealth. Generally, a wannabe oprah-like diva, but she is not.

My boss is really a nice lady, but that whole fauxprah act makes me ill.

fauxphoner

A person who, upon seeing someone they wish to avoid at the grocery store or other public place, pretends to engage in important discussion on the telephone as to evade conversation or awkward small talk with unliked said person.

Mom: "I saw your old math teacher at the mall today, Johnny. Remember Mr. B, the one that accused you of cheating?"
Johnny: "Oh really Mom?"
Mom: "Yes. I was going to say hello to him but he looked like he pulled out his cell phone to avoid me. What a fauxphoner."

fauxpression

The claim of some kind of oppression or other adverse condition being inflicted against the claimant personally or to a group/faith to which the claimant belongs to that is obviously hyperbolic or at least certainly exaggerated in terms of severity.

Generally Ted's libertarian beliefs seemed to have merit until he went fully down the fauxpression road by claiming that taxes literally made him a slave.

A fauxpology is a non-apology offered when someone doesn't feel one fucking bit sorry.

Since he did not recognize nor care that he had caused offense, he tersely offered the following fauxpology: "I'm sorry if you were offended, but it's not like it's really a big deal eother way."
