House-like epiphany

A realization made when someone else is talking to you. The moment when you finally figure something out because another person is talking or doing something that brings about the answer. Commonly featured on House, M.D., and named after Dr. Gregory House (played by Hugh Laurie).

Brandon had a House-like epiphany by watching someone else play the saxophone. He told me, "I want to play like that!"

showertime epiphany

An epiphany, a shocking revelation that occurs when doing the most mundane of tasks, such as showering. This could be the solution to a long-unresolved problem.
