Adj.
A term used to describe a massively mangled colon. Deriving from the condition of the overused hole during male or femal anal intercourse. Sometimes getting so "battered" that said hole is left gaping and hanging.

Mary was saving herself for marriage, so the only way she could divulge in her lusty desires was to indulge in the anal intercourse. She was commonly bent over so much that she is almost a permanent hunch back.

Battered Liberal

A term coined by conservative talkshow host Rush Limbaugh to describe the way that liberal voters are constantly promised numerous things by elected Democrats despite their history of using them for votes(this is especially true of ethnic minorities) yet making their lives more miserable in much the same way that a battered wife is promised compassion from her abusive husband only to have him hit her again, yet she keeps coming back to him since she feels there is nowhere else to turn.

The Battered Liberal still thinks that Hillary Clinton will fix the country despite failing at Hillary Care when her husband was in office, supporting communist nations like China, and her endless collection of pants suits

Battered Wife Syndrome

A theory of multiple victimization using the "cycle of violence" and learned helplessness to explain the development of a psychological problem in women who are repeatedly abused by their husbands.

The person becomes depressed and unable to take any independent action that would allow him or her to escape the abuse.

I think he's suffering from Battered Wife Syndrome. He is a timid person, unable to think for himself and is tentative about making any decision for fear of being verbally or physically attacked.

battered electorate syndrome

A population of voting citizens of a country, state, etc. who consistently vote for candidates whose goals are counter to their own economic, social, health, and educational needs. They can see that these candidates abuse them, but they rationalize it away, blame others for their predicament, & remain crawling loyal to them none the less.

For example, a battered electorate syndrome is exhibited by American white blue collar workers who vote for GOP candidates, completely violating their own economic interests. Even worse, after the GOP candidates woo them through the election, the minute the election is over the GOP is back in bed with the mega-wealthy making promises & coming through on them. The GOP knows they can sweet-talk their electorate into accepting that they must sleep with these billionaires to bring the gifts of trickle down economics to their electorate. Meanwhile the billionnaires are importing their new yachts & firing more employees in their most recent company efficiency overhaul, and of course sending more jobs overseas.
