personal insult

A personal insult is a negative remark made about a person, usually made in a demeaning tone of voice, or when written, the remark is made using what are generally considered to be negative words, and the remark is personal in that it is directed at a person's character, personality, or individual traits, and it is meant to invalidate that person's feelings or opinions, and/or to make that person feel bad about themselves. The person's feelings or opinions are not disputed with logic or knowledge or facts. Rather, the person making the insult believes that by finding fault with your character, personality, or other individual traits, that they are then justified in dismissing your feelings and your opinions. In making the negative remark, they believe that they are effectively invalidating your right to express yourself, and/or they are purposely attacking your feeling of self-worth.

A non personal insult - "I don't like that dress that you are wearing."
A personal insult - "Wow. That awful dress that you are wearing - what bad taste you have!"

A non personal insult - "Well, you are entitled to your opinion, even though it is wrong!"
A personal insult - "Your opinion is not only wrong, but you are obviously a stupid moron who is too dumb to have an informed opinion, and so you should just shut up!"

Family Guy Personality Syndrome (FGPS)

When someone is overly obsessed with the hillarious hit tv-show Family Guy. Some common symptoms of this can be things like; boring the living crap out of your friends by telling the same Family Guy jokes over and over, turning all of your conversations into "did you see yesterdays episode?" or "so Peter was like...". One of the most irritating and shit indulcing symptoms is retelling an entire episode word by word thus extremely boring the other person. If not treated it can leave your personality consisting of nothing but Family Guy jokes.

Family Guy Personality Syndrome (FGPS) victim: Did you see yesterday's episode?!? I almost shit my pants twice!!

Diego: Ehh, no.

FGPS victim: Welllll, let me tell you the whole episode detail by detail! Don't worry it will only take about half an hour and be nowhere near as funny as actually watching it.

Pervony

A pervony is a sub-category of the fan base referred to as bronies. A brony is an adolescent or adult male who is a fan of the show "My Little Ponies." Pervonies are men who comprise a small offshoot of the fan group bronies, and are generally considered perverted and/or deranged. They consist of fan fiction writers and fan artists whose work is filled with sexually explicit and/or macabre subject matter loosely based on the "My Little Ponies" cartoon. This group also includes consumers of such material. The "My Little Pony" material created by pervonies includes porn comics, food fetish fan fiction, a post-apocalyptic My Little Pony epic which has "graphic rape and sex scenes and numerous gory deaths," and "a Stygian epic about the Rainbow Factory wherein ponies are murdered to extract the necessary pigment for rainbow production." Thus the name is derived from a mix of pervert + pony.

"Hey dude! I heard you're a brony! That's awesome. I am too."

"Sweet. We should hang out sometime. But just to be clear, you're not a pervony are you? I like My Little Ponies, but I don't get off on kid's cartoons. I just enjoy the show."
