An alternate word for the term "hyphy." Also similar to the word "crunk". Originating in Northern California but has now spread to many other areas of the state, as well as other states; dinkytown is often referenced by teenagers in regards to alcohol, illicit drugs, or partying in general.

In Saigon this usually meant Park Lanes, or menthol brands, cigarettes that weren't popular with the troops.
