Refers to the Jewish schools, or "Yeshiva", where the Jewish people take Friday and Saturday from school to attend temple.

Guy: Hey, boss. May I have take a Jewish weekend? May I take off on Friday and come in to work on Sunday? I have to attend a wedding.

Boss: Sure.
