Refers to a girl that appears attractive inside a building, particularly in dimmed lighting, but when viewed outside in the sunlight reveals a blemished face, cleverly hidden by thick makeup, that is less noticeable without the natural light. Subsequently, she is deducted a couple points on the one to ten hottness scale.

Mike: Hey Bill did you ever hook up with that chick from your Spanish class?
Bill: No man, the class went for a picnic a couple days ago, and she is definitely just inside hot.
Mike: So what? You don't have to fuck her on the patio do you?
