New Year Alzheimer's 

An ailment which causes people to accidentally write the wrong year on papers, applications, forms, etc. It is a very common disease that occurs directly after the new year, and can last for several months.

This disease is rarely a problem, since writing the year on most things is pointless anyways. However, serious side effects can occur when tax returns, college applications, etc. are affected.

Teacher: "You've written 2011 on every assignment you've handed in this month. You do know it's 2012, right?"

Student: "Yeah, I just have New Year Alzheimer's."

New Orleans tickle 

That inner, light and free feeling of enthusiasm & eagerness when you know you are going to be there soon to renew old memories, ie. "Tony's Spaghetti House", Acme Oyster House, walking along the Waterfront, smells, ie. perfume, "Blue Blossom" and umm, begnets, oyster shells on the curb (phew); noises, the bells at St. Louis Cathedral, and the clip clop of horse's hooves pulling buggies ,sirens, or "I bet I can tell you where you got yo shoes!", sights (you name it) .

I got the New Orleans tickle, cause I'm heading down there tomorrow for French fun, fantasy, frolic, n'food!

New York Grand Prix

Nickname for the Taconic State Parkway in New York. An infamous 104 mile long road that predates the interstate highway system. Designed as a scenic tour of the Taconic mountain range it features lots of tight high speed turns, no shoulder, flirtation with certain death if you go off the road and beautiful vistas.

A true "Drivers Road." If you have a good car and decent driving stills it can be a blast, at night it's very demanding because you can't see the turns coming and deer tend to hang out on/near the road.
