A silent or hissing type gas passing, hence the name PIFF. Hands may be used to separate buttocks in order to achieve higher level of piffiness.

Originated in New Albany, Indiana. Brought to Southern California in the early 21st century.

Piffle is the word that you use to exclaim your feelings. Piffle can be used to describe ANY feeling(like anger, sadness, regret, etc.) despite its inappropriateness in the situation(*your at a funeral* "PIFFLE!"). "Piffle" is a complete sentence.
