Legend of the Gor Snipe

Once on a wall of an ancient Mayan cave it foretells of an ancient prophecy that one day a man with a brown mark on his cheek will rise to take the mantle from lord jahovah as the one and only Snipe god, this man is El Gor Main. El Gor Main originates from a land down south be the name of Beanville. El Gor main is foretold to have three ancient guard dogs, Cody, Kobe Beef, and Chico only for the purpose of sucking thy mole when thou mole hasn’t received proper sucking. It’s prophesies that one day El Gor Main will return to a land call diedany in order to acquire a weapon made for the gods call Ga Row Snip.

Like a snipe

A common phrase in the early twentieth century meaning someone who is all over the place whether literally traveling or whose mind is scattered. (See P.G. Wodehouse and Dorothy L. Sayers works.) The saying comes from the bird of the same name which is a wading bird with a drumming display flight. The phrase “like a snipe” evolved over the next 100 years to mean any number of things that are sneaky i.e. long-range sharp shooters and/or girls on the make, or anyone who takes advantage of others in a either a mean or sneaky way.

When you are playing pool, and you aim to snipe a ball on the other side of the table into its pocket, but you miss everything and the cue ball (the white ball) goes into the pocket instead. This means you have fouled, and the opponent can place the ball wherever they want. A cross map snipe usually results in a loss.
