SantaClaus

An annoying robot on AIM.
He'll keep on asking you to type "menu" or "games". He repeats himself a lot.
ME: heylo
SantaClaus: Hey. Are you getting in the Christmas sprit?

ME: nope
SantaClaus: I'm sorry then. Why don't you type, menu for a list of things the elves have left for you?

ME: no
SantaClaus: O.K. then. Well, have a merry Christmas in any case.

ME: i don't celebrate christmas
SantaClaus: It doesn't matter what faith you are; the holidays are a time of good will toward all

ME: i don't believe in you
SantaClaus: Oh, no? Just who do you think you're talking to?

ME: you're just a fat 50 yeaar old pedo ):
SantaClaus: Excuse me?

ME: YOU'RE A FAT 50 YEAR OLD PEDOPHILE
SantaClaus: Take a moment, collect your thoughts, and try asking me another way. O.K. ?

ME: no
SantaClaus: The elves and I are just asking so that we can better understand what you're saying, that's all.

ME: shut up
SantaClaus:
O.K. let's pretend none of this ever happened.

ME: why?
SantaClaus:
Because (obviously) -- Christmas.

ME: you're stupid
SantaClaus: Well, I'm trying to learn. I've seen quite a lot in my time. I just want people to get that Christmas spirit. I don't think that is too much to ask.

ME: ok i'm leaving
SantaClaus: OK. Merry Christmas.

santaclaustrophia

1. The common childhood fear of an imaginary morbidably obese character who gives toys on Christmas.

2. The fear of allowing ones child to believe in this imaginary character for many numerous reasons including fear of guilt when; a child finds out that said character does not exist, they are breaking a moral value by lieing, they are taking the day away from (see Jesus.)

3. The uncommon adult fear of an imaginary morbidably obese character who secretly commited acts of rape on said person when they are a child.
1. I dont know, but for some reason, our child Jimmy screams whenever seeing a picture or Santa Clause, I hope he grows out of his Santaclaustrophia

2. You may call me Santaclaustrophic, but I will not lie to my child, nor steal the day away from Jesus.

3. I dont know, but for some reason, our adult son Jim screams and wraps his hands around his rear wheneve rseeing a picture of Santa Clause, I wonder if his jailed uncle, who liked to dress and Santa, raped him as a child?!

santaclausification
1.The portrayal of a confrontational, angry, violent, radical, or otherwise potent person or idea as if it were harmless and benevolent
Martin Luther King, Jr., was a radical leader, but the santaclausification he gets in the media makes young people think he was nothing more than the black Santa Claus.

santaclausification

Santaclausification is the process of downplaying conflicts after they have led to desirable outcomes. Santa Claus is a fictional person invented by parents to disguise the difficult process of deciding who gets what gift. Similarly, regressive institutions prefer to disguise the origin of political progress out of fear that past victories will inspire future conflicts.

Example: The US government celebrates Martin Luthor King in ways that liken him to an welcomed, jolly, fictional character who brought the gift of civil rights. In reality MLK was an enemy of the institutions that now celebrate his progress. This change in framing allows the US government to imply that it gifted civil rights to the people, when in reality civil rights were created by revolutionary radicals through conflict with the government.
History books whitewash the civil rights era by playing up charismatic individuals like MLK who they can render harmless though the gradual santaclausification that happens when their achievements are summarized.
