Get the guitar hero poser mug.The third (full) installment of the Guitar Hero series published by Activision. No longer devloped by Harmonix, it was done by Neversoft and they did it well. The Interface is a bit different than GH 1 & 2, but you get used to it after an hour or two of playing. Also there are cutscenes. Badly animated ones, but there nonetheless.
In my opinion has the best soundtrack of the three games, (ill show that later)Co-op career mode, and the new Battle mode where instead of Star power you get Power-ups to "attack" your opponent with. Its pretty much like pro-face off on different difficulties, except it doesnt keep score.
There are also boss battles with Tom Morello, Slash, and the Devil (Lou). You have to make them fail using the various power ups by the end of the song. They dont miss a note unless you attack them, so its difficult.
Last but not least, Activision apparently heard their fans and decided to put the long-awaited "Through the fire and the flames" by Dragonforce as a bonus track. People were ecstatic (I know I was. If your on expert, once you finally pass the intro your home free. dont worry.)
Long fans of the series will love this game, people who have never heard of it will love it. Buy it, its great for parties ;)
