Sewer Rat 

Someone who pursues a member of the opposite sex 'underground' through texting or facebook messaging with the sole intention of bangin her when the weekend arrives. (Also known as 'laying the foundations' or 'doing the ground work') The 'Sewer Rat' often keeps their texting secret from their friends, hence the word 'sewer' to describe the 'underground' nature of the work. When the weekend comes the sewer rat surfaces. It is often a suprise when the 'sewer ratters' mates see the ratter with his target due to the secretive nature of his actions in the build up to the night out. The 'pre-ratting' usually occurs during the working week before friday and can continue right up to the moment the ratter smells the rat inside the pub or the club they are both going to.

Origins: Derives from the verb: 'To Rat/To Rat on' - To seriously go after a female with the purpose of pulling them.

Dan: Dave pal, wheres Andy gone? He was here just now.
Dave: He's been with that bird all night, apparently he's been texting her all week. Think she's going back to his house.

Barracks Rat 

Military slang for a soldier who in spite of being sent to a choice duty like Germany (PARTY PALACE OF THE EUROPEAN COMMAND) decides to stay in the barracks wasting valuable youth, life experience and a helluva good time out "on the economy". Usually they are young soldiers who are so far away from home for the first time.

Damn dude, here it is Octoberfest, and Hammond won't leave his room, what a barracks rat.

Wal-rat

Youth or young adults who typically congregate at their local Wal-Mart. It is more common at Supercenters, but it can also take place at a smaller, traditional location.

Wal-rat originated from the word mallrat, the latter being part of American life for teenagers for over 20 years. As Wal-Mart continues to grow, Wal-rats will also continue to flourish.

Rural areas that do not have a shopping mall but only a Wal-Mart are usually popular locations for Wal-rats. Moreover, it is also an alternative hangout for mallrats to congregate, especially to avoid the stringent rules that mall security can enforce upon its patrons.

Person 1 - Would you like to come to Wal-Mart with me?
Person 2 - You Wal-rat, this is like the third time this week that you've went to Wal-Mart!
