Hyper-Violence

Usually used to describe depictions or actions that are overtly graphic in the representation of violence. Used in relation to media that offers a preponderance of violence over any other element in the narrative. The term is used equally in relation to sexual violence, often to imply a sublimated sexual motivation for the violence. The term is synonymous with the term Ultra-Violence, which arises from "A Clockwork Orange" by Anthony Burgess.

Perhaps the extreme hyper-violence reflects Spain's old scars re-imagined by a Mexican director Guillermo Del Toro, but it held me away from falling into the magic realism of the story.

Hyper

In the furry fandom (and most likely other places with sexual minorities), hyper means to be excessively endowed to the point of ridiculous and unrealistic proportions. This can also be combined or replaced with the muscle fetish to mean unrealistically gigantic muscular proportions.

Furry #1: "Hey did you see the artist who drew that hyper mouse?"
Furry #2 "The one with those really really huge boobs, right?"

Or

Furry #1: "Man, I wish I was hyper muscled..."
Furry #2: "Why? You wouldn't even be able to move with all that beef on you."
Furry #1: "It's just for looks."

Fuckbois with shoe fetishes. Usually spend ridiculous amounts of money to buy ugly, expensive shoes such as Yeezys, just to collect and/or resell.

A person that types meaningless or sensless babble while talking on Instant Messengers or while filling out profile information on one of the many profile creating sites. Usually this coexists with anime fans, and/or techno fanatics.
