selection loop

This often uncontrollable disorder is the act of continuously and repetitiously highlighting random bits of computer-based text with a mouse and cursor while reading the text, causing a continually changing blue-box selection outline to appear over the inverted text.

While this act of visual obsessive compulsion is calming to the individual with mouse control, it can often be frustrating and debilitating to anyone observing the act or attempting to read the material on a shared computer screen.

This disorder can be troublesome when text is editable because text is often accidentally dragged into different areas unbeknownst to the suffering individual.

Nate had trouble reading the computer text over Greg's shoulder because he was deep into a selection loop.

Yale Loop

Yale Loop is a continuous loop of a street (hence the name) and is located in Irvine, California in the township of Woodbridge. In early years, The loop was surrounded by an abundance of Orange Groves. To this day no Orange Groves are visible from the Yale Loop. It is a major street connecting houses, shopping centers, and the famous North and South Lakes of Woodbridge. Both lakes have a pedestrian bridge, made out of wood, hence the name.

Cindy: No Samantha, I told you, I'm jogging today with Ryan in Santa Margarita.

Back in the good ol' days of insecure, pop-up infested IE, this would occur when you "accidentally" enter a porn site that throws pop-ups at you at lightning speed, and as soon as you get out of one pop-up, another one would come up. You could spend hours on the internet stuck in a porn loop. If you're lucky, a porn loop could even go as far as changing your desktop background to a pair of giant breasts and changing your homepage to another infinite porn loop.

Yes. Tech Support? Hello. I've been stuck in a porn loop for 2 weeks and it's ruining my social life. I typed in goggle.com instead of google.com, so now I am franticly closing smut window after smut window. What should I do?
