Get the dollar pissmug. A woman that works at a latin bar and entertains patrons either by conversing at the bar and encouraging them to buy drinks or by dancing with a patron. If the patron buys a drink, the girl talking to him is given a coin or ticket by the bartender. Each coin or ticket is usually worth $1. If the patron wants to dance, it is usually $2 per song. The dances most commonly danced in these bars are bachata, merengue, & salsa.

The dollar-gentsia are affluent individuals who assume their wealth qualifies them as intellectuals or people of unquestionable good taste. The wealthy, especially the nouveau riche, who attend opera, ballet, the the'-ater, museums and gallery openings when they'd clearly rather be watching CSI reruns. Rich boors.
Museums attract not the truely intelligent and knowledgeable but the somewhat educated, the middle brow, those aspiring to intellectual-chic, the dollar-gentsia.
