It feels as if a knife is being wedged into your chest, every mistake or slip up or bad event is the knife slowly being wound deeper into your heart. Every problem is different in size and is therefore sometimes pushed in deeper than usual. Eventually it's in so deep you only need one last problem to send it plunging into your heart. You can stagger around with the knife in your heart as long as you want, but there are ways to remove and heal it. Some solutions work better than others, crying will clean the wound but the knife will not be removed. Sharing your problems and telling someone else about your problems gives them the chance to fully remove the knife and cleanse the wound, something you may be unable to do due to the immense pain.
You will never be fully happy again, your scar will remain forever, but you don't have to let it control you.

A sickness that lots of people have no idea what it feels like; depression will get you to think in different ways than you're used to. Friends dissappear and nobody seems to care. Having depression is like being colorblind, and everyone keeps telling you how beautiful and colorful the world is. Yes, it might be there, it mighy be pretty, but we can't see it. We feel like we never will. Contrary to popular belief, depression isn't simply cured by smiling or laughing. A glimpse of color isn't enough to fix any of this damage. A lot of people will confuse depression with a call for attention, which is a stereotype, but 99% of the time not the case. If someone confides in you, let them know they'll be okay and you'll be there for them. They don't need to be treated different just because they're depressed. A lot of us are still normal and it's not a contagious disease. Prolonged contact with a depressed person might have an affect, but it is unlikely that they'll turn you into a fully depressed person.

Depression is that moment you go up to your room lock the door and burst out crying or slitting your wrists and you realise no one actually knows how unhappy you are you get judged for doing things you do people presume you do everything for attention but no one knows how you really feel they just see the smile you put on your face or the laugh you push and you don’t speak to people about how you actually feel because you know they don’t give a flying fuck you cant trust anybody because you never know when there going to give up on you sometimes you just wish you could end it all people think there doing the right thing by doing whatever they do to help but they don’t know your dying inside 😔

The constant feeling of being trapped and forgotten. Feeling the world wouldnt change without you, feeling like you have nothing to love for. The feeling that no one will ever understand you so much, that you don't even understand yourself, so you don't want to exist, you want to disappear and never come back.
