Macrophenomenal

An adjective describing the meticulous collecting of odd data.

First coined in the title to the blog, FreeDarko's book, The Macrophenomenal Pro Basketball Almanac, the term is slowly taking foot in Northwestern's greek community, namely the fraternity, FIJI.

One example of a macrophenomenal endevour is FIJI chief justice, Andrew Feldman, transcribing the whole spoken word dialogue (identified for each character), as well as cataloging the exact start and end times of rap samples in the digital media, City of God's Son, by Kenzo Digital.

A forthcoming example of a macrophenomenal endevour, by said Chief Justice Feldman will be his cartography of the Chicago neighborhood, Wicker Park. Justice Feldman plans to rely on a map format to note, review, and comment on the entirety of the universe eminating from the triple-intersection of Damen, North and Milwaukee.
