80s band Duran Duran was popularly referred to as the 'Fab 5,' though today the term is commonly applied to American reality show phenomenon Queer Eye For the Straight Guy and it's five gay cast members whose goal it is to turn the homeliest straight guys into the most fabulous of metros.

Carson, Kyan, Ted, Thom and Jai make it a point to clean up the messes of their hetero-assignments and provide good, quality American entertainment all within the same hour.

They are the only 5 to do so ( Kentucky-98 ), ( UNC-88 ), ( UCLA-85 ), ( Duke-81 ), ( Kansas-73 ).Indiana is the closest program with 58. The Phat 5 have 5 of the 6 best All-Time winning%.( 1 ) Kentucky, ( 2 ) N.Carolina, ( 3 )UNLV, ( 4 )Kansas, ( 5 ) Duke, ( 6 ) UCLA. UNLV started play in 1959, 39 years after UCLA ( 1920 ) the last Phat 5 to start playing basketball. The Phat 5 have the top 4 programs in All-Time wins ( 1 )Kentucky, ( 2 )N.Carolina, ( 3 )Kansas, and ( 4 ) Duke. UCLA is ( 11th ) All-Time.

The NCAA has had 67 National Champions and the Phat 5 have a combined 68. This means there is almost a guarrantee that one of the Phat 5 will make the Final Four every year. Now that's Dunkadelic.

Asian 5 

Mainly a New Zealand school term i'd say. But maybe used in other countries.

Basically means picking the 5 hardest subjects in Yr 13 (last year before uni) in NCEA standard. These are-

- Maths with Calculus

- Maths with Statistics

- Physics

- Chemistry

- Biology.

Some might also include English LvL 3(plz notice it's very hard for science-heads, i've experienced) as 6th subject.
