whole paycheck

A nickname for Whole Foods Market, the now-famous purveyor of (rather high-priced) organic and fresh foods and sundries.

i'm headed to Whole Paycheck to pick up a dozen organic, cage-free, range-free, vegetarian-fed eggs and some sustainably farmed, sprouted quinoa; good thing i just completed that second mortgage.

paycheck shock

One of life's biggest disappointments.It is the dejection/rage experienced by first time workers when they get their very first paycheck and realize they don't get to keep the entire $5.25 they thought they were working for.

My son experienced paycheck shock when he saw all the stuff deducted from his gross pay.

psychic vampire

unlike the blood drinkers, these are creatures who drain people of emotions and energy, not blood. They can go out in sun, but generally avoid doing so if they can. Sometimes, one may be a psychic vampire and not know it. Traits include:
Always becoming energetic around crouds.
Tendency to depression
Needing constant reassurance
being tired durring the day
being energetic at night

"dude, i think you might be a psychic vampire"
