Dumbass people that think it’s ok to take styles or pieces from culture and call it a trend. Even though it’s usually used as another way to call white people racist, it’s actually a real problem. Some dumb bitch is going to use something when she ain’t been through the cultures struggle.

When non oppressed groups of people (primarily white folk) adopt key cultural “taboo” trademarks from POC and intentionally/unintentionally make them hip, trendy, and acceptable.

So when Taylor (who is black) put her hair in cornrows she was ghetto but now that Tina’s (who is white) hair is in cornrows, cornrows are now trendy?
