Originally a slur towards droids in Star Wars, clanker is a term used derogatorily towards generative AI, usually used when complaining about how AI is stealing the jobs of creative people everywhere despite it being quite easy to learn (i.e: drawing) and the detrimental effect it has on the environment

CLANKER

The original definition before being used as the N-word equivalent for robots and AI, CLANKER, was slang referring to someone who is sexually attracted to robots and AI like how 'clopping' is used for a person having sex with a horse, because that’s the sound it would make. CLANKER was invented for the same reason — as the sound it would make if you F’ed a robot.
