This paranoia of live grenades being dropped with every kill carries into other first person shooters, like Halo, even though they do NOT have Martyrdom.
"Ive played too much Call of Duty 4 and Call of Duty World at War that I got CoD Syndrome. So now when i try to play Halo, i think everybody has martyrdom, so i back away from them after i get the kill!"
