Ratchet is a noun as well as an adjective. As a noun, a ratchet is someone (male or female, of any race) that has no social grace. They do not know how to say things like "please" or "thank you" and are often seen wearing clothes that are either too big or too small. Example: "That ratchet came over here and made a huge mess, then left it for someone else to clean!"
As an adjective, ratchet describes a person's behavior. It does not imply or insinuate a gender, race, or sexual preference. ratchet defines all of the nastiest black people and or white people who, think they are black.
