Judies

Term used by gay males when referring to friendship among other gay men. This term is often preceeded by the word good which refers to a very close gay male friend.

This word originated from the actress who played Dorothy in the Wizard of OZ, Judy Garland.
This also became a code word for gay males that referred to themselves and other gay males as a friend of Dorothy's.

"Roger is one of my judies."
"Of course I know Sean!! We're good judies!"

Judgenoculars

An apparatus used to pass judgement on passersby based on their appearance, expression, or swirling rumors. Also used in meetings to evaluate the worth of someone's comments. Focusing in on the details that reveal someone's intentions or evidence of misguided behavior. The use of which is recounted later by gesturing with circling hand motions around the eyes. Can be put away for later use by simply keeping on your invisible croakies.

I was sure to take out my judgenoculars when I spotted a poor graduate student being plucked away from his desk by the dean with the hiked up skirt. I focused in on the sultry expression on her face and his eager look of intrigue.

Judge Judy

a crabby ol' bitch (with a capital B) who wears judge's robes and gives judgement on a stupid court TV show. She is very irritable, very pushy and demanding and she degrades and belittles people in the courtroom. She always acts like someone pissed in her orange juice, she needs to be removed from the bench once and for all.

Judge Judy is on TV every afternoon.

Judgmental

People who live their lives as if everyone should think and act the way they themselves do. Judgmental people think on a very shallow level and tend to be unaccepting of people who come from different socioeconomic or cultural backgrounds. Judgmental people also almost never seek to understand others, but instead spend their free time involved in gossip.

You yourself may be judgemental. We all are at some points. But it's good to get in the habit of catching yourself when you make up your mind about someone, especially before trying to see their point of view.

Me: "Hey did you hear Janet is having a kid?"
FH: "Was it a mistake?"
Me: "I don't know."
FH: "She should probably get a good job first before she has a kid."
