good business decision

The term used by management to describe their decision to take away pay, benefits, or a job from an employee.

A decision based entirely on upper management being able to skim a couple more dollars of profit off from the company without a care or concern to employee safety, long term company effect, equipment reliability, or any other thing than pocketing the bossman a couple more dollars.

Manager: Well we have decided that you will no longer be able to take off holidays.
Employee: Why? I enjoy seeing my family. Why can't I have something that the federal government gives everyone else?
Manager: After some research the company has found that taking away your time and happiness is a good business decision.

Back in the 'good old days', we used to have to walk a mile through 3 feet of snow to get to school every day.

Good Face Day

The phrase having a "Good face day" is reminiscent of having a "good hair day". A "good face day" occurs when someone's face (usually pertaining to a female) is looking especially nice. This can be used as a casual compliment. Telling someone they are having a nice face day does not mean that they do not usually look good, you are just saying they look extra pretty.

Although less common, the phrase can also be used in the negative; as in a "bad face day". However "bad face day" is only used by someone talking about him or herself.

A: "You are having a good face day"
B: "Thanks, I wasn't running late this morning so I had time to put on my makeup."

A:"Ugh, I am having such a bad face day!"
B:"What do you mean?"
A:"Do you not see the huge pimple on my chin and the bags under my eyes?!"

Good Lookin' Dick, Peter

1. A compliment meant to recognize the overall beauty of one's male genitalia.

2. A metaphorical compliment that can be applied outside the realm of genitalia. Normally used to recognize the achievements of a fellow man or woman or to commend another on general aesthetic beauty.

1. Tom walks in on Bruce while he is changing and glances at his penis:
Tom: "Good lookin' dick, Peter"
Bruce: "Thank you"
Tom: "Beautiful dick"

2. Paul hits a home run in a beer league softball game:
Teammates: "Good lookin' dick, Peter! Beautiful dick!"
