A pathetic hockey team from Toronto that completely sucks. Leaf fans like to think their franchise is comparable to the Chicago Cubs because they are popular losers but the fact of the matter is the Maple Leaf Gardens are gone so the team doesn't even have that mystical tradition on their side anymore. Now the Maple Leafs are just like any other team that play in a modern corporate arena.
Toronto is a really crappy sports town. The only people that like any of your crappy teams are Canadians that hate Americans and want to stick it to them by pulling for Toronto teams. Torontonians think all of Canada looks up to them but I have been to places like New York and Chicago and I live close to Boston so Toronto doesn't do it for me.

The Maple Leafs are crap. The Air Canada Center is for the oily corporate douche bags of Toronto that think they are big time Wall Street rollers. If they want to blow their money on BMW's and Toronto Maple Leaf tickets, that is fine by me.

Many individuals state that Toronto is "smoggy and dirty", but this assumption is only correct if one is referring to 'downtown Toronto'. Many other areas of Toronto are perfectly clean, and downtown Toronto is not always smoggy (it has its smoggy and non-smoggy days just like any other large city would).
Most immigrants who come to Canada choose to settle in Toronto, and from experience it is the sad truth that a lot of ethnic groups call white people racist, even when it's them who are actually the racists.
Toronto is also home to the CN Tower, that giant skyscraper that Godzilla would most likely use as a toothpick if he ever came to Toronto or existed in the first place.

Get the Toronto mug.The most overrated team in NHL history. Also proudly owns the nhl's worst logo and worst name. To their credit, they used to be good. A long long time ago in 1967, I believe, they managed to win their 13th and final cup. Now, they can't even make it to the cup finals. Will miss the playoffs this season thanks to lousy coaching, too much reliance on power play and of course just plain bad, underachieving players. The Leafs also happen to have the most terrible fans in the nhl. Somehow, those clowns still think the Leafs will make the playoffs even though they're almost totally eliminated. They also believe they'll win the cup... But no worries. Soon, Leafs fans will be able to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their last Stanley Cup. If you live in Toronto, do yourself a favor and root for any other team. The Ottawa Senators are a good pick. Or the Montreal Canadiens who actually have won a Stanley Cup during current fans' lifetimes.
If the Toronto Maple Leafs had won a few games against the Ottawa Senators this season, they'd be contenders for the playoffs. But what can I say? The Sens are a far superior team.
