1. a preppy person called "Fresa" is a social term used in Mexico, not all latin america. It is "Mexican slang".
2. Fresa's are usually stuck up, have expensive clothes, cars, are usually middle high or high class, and talk different than everyone else. Like in every other country there are pseudo-fresas, those who pretend to be preppy but aren't.
3. Anyone above middle class is Mexican society is born cursed to be a Fresa
4. Fresa also means Strawberry in Spanish

Adjective; can also be used as a pronoun normally used to describe a prospering D-boy ie drug-dealer. The term comes from the mentality of the prospering D-boy that since he has an unlimited, constantly replenished profit income from his sales, that he should not have to wear the same outfit/clothing more than once, and all clothing worn more than once should be immediatly discarded. The smell and feel of crisp new clothes straight from the retailer symbolize the dealer's economic status, comfort level, as well as his eye for current trends and sense of materialistic conviction.

Fresher's Flu

An awful illness that prevents freshers (British slang for first-year university students) from attending lectures in the first term.

May result from everyone bringing their coughs and colds from all over the country, and spreading it all about in the Fresher's Fayre and Fresher's Ball, which are always held in areas too small for the number of people trying to squeeze in. Thus resulting in everyone breathing everyone's germs and getting even more sick.

May also be a result of over-alcohol consumption in the first week.

John: Yo, going on the rugby soc pub-crawl tonight?
Tim: Can't, I feel like crap.
John: Must be fresher's flu.
