A world used to refer to Japanese people, or people who know the language by heart. It may often be symbolism for showing love towards Japan, as this slang word is picked up from anime games like Elsword. Pay attention to how you use this word, otherwise people of all cultures take offense to it. It's also worth noting that "weeaboo" is academically not a REAL word, but it is known as Japanese Slang. It's a term that is not used to address people who have ties to Japan (prevalent to Japanese videos on YouTube). It is a socially unacceptable word, and can be used by unmature kids to bully others, as it is seen to be an inappropriate word. It may be considered a perverted front or approach.
"Darling, you're much too tense. Normal people won't be mad if you're a weeaboo. Take pride in who you are!"

Get the weeaboo mug.Detractors (who are themselves anime fan) use the term "weeaboo" to insult those who love anime, Japanese culture, just because a lot of American anime fans are white.

1-Better version of wapanese
2-Short of wannabe japanese
These guys are obsessed with anime more than they should. They try to talk Japanese but it ends with failure. You can hear they are saying basic japanese words like "Konnichiwa (hello)", "Arigatou (thanks)", "Watashi wa... (I am...)", "Baka (idiot)" and counting. They annoy otaku's so much (they should be).

Get the Weeaboo mug.Someone who seems to hate people who aren't japanese but like japan for no logical reason.
Many seem to misunderstand that they overly like anime and manga and learn japanese from these. Also many misunderstand that DBZ isn't an american anime/manga and was written by Akira Toriyama and isnt a decent anime/manga. Weeaboo haters think that they really know everything there is about anime/manga/Japan. They give "weeaboos" shit for watching the americanized versions of anime, for speaking Japanese, for eating japanese food and for wanting to go to japan.
weeaboo haters are very confused people and we should have sympathy for them.
(i was recently called a weeaboo and would like to prove that im not.)

A Weeaboo hater would use one of these actual def's of weeaboo from UD
NUMBER 1
1. Any self-proclaiming anime fan who alienates themselve from their own society and assimilate into the Japanese culture from which they know little-to-none about; using their so-called anime knowledge as a guide, which destined them to ultimate failure in assimilation. 2.As far as anime goes, they know only little. For example, the average weeaboo knows only americanized anime; preferly uncut with jap. audio and eng. subs ( E.g. Naruto, DBZ, Bleach, Haruhi Suziyama, Lucky Star, etc...) and memorized every japanese song from their favorite shows.
NUMBER 2
Not in reference to someone who likes to watch some anime, reads some manga, eats some teriyaki once or twice a month, etc. The main difference is that a Weeaboo doesn't care about the culture, where a non-weeaboo (I don't know the term, does. A weeaboo speaks Wapanese (i.e. Kawaii neko!! Can I hug your neko-chan?). However they are not to be confused with someone who is still learning Japanese. They base the majority of their knowledge, if not all of it, of Japan on really bad anime. Not decent ones like Pretear or Suzumiya Haruhi. Shit ones like DBZ.

Get the Weeaboo hater mug.Weeaboos We-ah-boo are not Asian people who try to be Asian. They have obsessions like: Yaoi, Yuri, Hentai, and Anime and they try to look asian by wearing loli costumes and wigs. If they are students, they join Anime clubs and act like anime characters who are perverts. Weeaboos are usually girls because of their love of yaoi. They also have horrible cosplay and don't take anime seriously. You could see your nearest Weaaboos in your Yaoi Section of any Book Store across the world. NO, OTAKUS ARE DIFFERENT FROM WEEABOOS.
