Shalat

Shalat: A word often used be REAL "chav's" "ned's or some other lower form of life. It combines word to abbreviate the saying "See you later". The saying if often shortened (and some cases lengthened to add comedic affedt)e.g 'Sha', 'Shal' or in some and more common cases pronounced like 'Shalat'r.

A common ned departing from conversation or from a herd of its kind: "Ahrite boyshe' i'm off ken, shalat'r." or " Fuck you'z lot, am awaw, sha..." or on rare occasions used in a more unorthodox way and combined with other letters and sayings; " Shalatorz".

it is a form of "swear to god."
since no one actually believes "i swear to god" anymore, shalami is being used. if you use shalami it is the untruth then you lose your 'shalami' forever.

it's like "that's my word" in ebonics.
