Color

1. The quality of an object or substance with respect to light reflected by the object, usually determined visually by measurement of hue, saturation, and brightness of the reflected light; saturation or chroma; hue.

2. One of the words that's most popularly debated about the correct spelling of. Color vs Colour.

In the USA the spelling of the word is 'color'. Many "Yankophiles" (people that live outside of the USA, but admire the USA) also spell it this way.

In the UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, etc. the correct spelling of the word is 'colour'.
Anglophiles in the USA (Americans that admire England) also spell the word 'colour'.

Simple as.
There's no real correct way to spell the word, if it's officially adopted as the correct spelling there. That's why in the US, they speak American-English, not exactly English per se.

Chatroom Session:

British person: So yh, mate. The colour of my car is red.

American person: wtf. u spelled color wrong.

British person: no, u did. the english language originated here. so colour is correct.

Open minded person: Shut up both of you. Both 'colour' and 'color' are both correct. You're on the internet speaking internationally, so technically they're both right.

Colorado

Sterling, Colorado

A small boring town in the middle of nowhere, Northeastern Colorado, but its the biggest town for many miles around. The only reasons people come to Sterling is for the fair if they are rednecks, or Northeastern Junior College. NJC is the only place that there are African Americans in Sterling. The rest of the people are white and Mexican and emo poseurs. There is nothing to do except WalMart and the skate park, so most of the population parties all weekend and then goes to church on Sunday. It is a great place to make friends

University of Colorado

The University of Colorado has great academics & research. It is ranked the 11th best public school in the world. CU has the hottest girls anywhere. Academics are rivaled only by the parties. The Hill is where everybody lives and parties. Pearl Street has upscale shopping, bars, and street performers. Too many Californians come here and think they own the place. Everybody gets high. Yuppie-Hippies. World class skiing. EVERYBODY is white (except for a few asians). Denver kicks ass and is only 20 minutes away. Bums everywhere, Norlin 420! Sunny 300+ days a year, The Flatirons, GDI Liberals, Decent Greek System, Nitro

Are you going to the University of Colorado football game?

colorbar

A decoration put on a blog. Colorbars commonly contain images tinted in six colors, with the caption "(Subject of pictures) is love." Originally, the colorbar was meant to support gay marriage with the caption "Marriage is love," and colored blocks, instead of tinted images, but since then they have been adapted for celebrities, tv shows, sports teams and other things.

If you check my profile on LiveJournal, you'll notice I put a Family Guy colorbar on it because I'm a big fan of the show.
