Denny Rock 

A term used to describe poor rock and roll music taste. Someone who is a fan of denny rock is generally a fan of shitty alternative bands such as Nickelback, Hinder and Default.

Matt: Hey dude do you think he would wanna go to the Foo Fighters concert with us?
Jim: Probably not man, that kid only listens to shitty ass denny rock.

Not giving a fuck about what is cool or not cool, what is punk rock or not punk rock, or what is acceptable or what isn't. Plain and simple: Punk is a state of mind. If you think you're a punk then you are. Who gives a fuck.

Gaijin Rock 

Gaijin Rock is essentially Japanese Rock music (J-Rock) but sang in a non-japanese language - typically English.

The music usually is a blend of rock and electronic music with lyrics usually referring to manga comics or manga-esque themes

Person 1: What sort of music would you say Area 11 do?

Person 2: Oh, they are Gaijin Rock!

Doug Rock 

"Annoying" rock music that meets the following criteria:

1: "Sensitive" lyrics often depicting self-pity accompanied by crunching guitars.
2: Band members who consider themselves "artists" for commercialized and formulaic material.
3: An obsession with power ballads.

Typical Doug Rock songs begin with a tender acoustic riff to establish a sense of melancholy before the "crashing electric guitar climax" expresses the emotional angst of the song's protagonist. Most songs follow a formula of the subject suffering form a personal or situational shortcoming with redemption dependant on the favor a love interest or the subject's renewed faith.

Guy 1: Did you hear that Nickleback song?
Guy 2: No, I avoid Doug Rock whenever possible.
