This is a common term used to define a runner who, while on an easy run, decides to go way too quick and hence not reap the benefits of said easy run. It is believed to have been first used about the retired Irish distance athlete Marcus O’Sullivan who went to four summer Olympic Games.

A pace baby is someone who thinks they are good at Sea Of Thieves simply because they watch Pace22 on twitch and have a skinny character model that wears all black clothes. Prefers hiding on someones boat rather to fighting them.
