The Gen9 region in Pokemon. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet takes place in Paldea. The starters are Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly. Paldea is based off the Iberian Peninsula (Spain, Portugal, Andorra) like how Galar is based off of the UK and Kalos is based off of France.

You usually might hear it when you'reamong other people and you see someone that as got his phone stolen or something bad happened to him, so in frustration he screams dio padella

"ma dio padella, un terrone mi ha rubato il mio portafoglio"

"porco dio mi hanno investito e ora ho il crociato rotto, dio padella!"
