The posting a definition of a word as a status as an attempt to amuse and possibly inform the members of your social network.

An example of Websterbooking: "Vaguebooking - An intentionally vague Facebook status update, that prompts friends to ask what's going on, or is possibly a cry for help."

Keith: What do you mean?

Websters are known for their ability to find information on a variety of topics, ranging from celebrity gossip to videos of people doing stupid things on the internet.

Some do this professionally.

No relation to the dictionary.

That Tosh is one hip webster.

Responding to an insult by rephrasing it as a question, then redirecting the insult back to the original aggressor, only louder.

Aggressor: "You're a jerk!"

Respondent: "I'm a jerk? YOU'RE A JERK!"

Aggressor: "Don't pull a Webster!"

Webster Groves High School

A small public school in the heart of a wonderful town, Webster Groves. Sure, we’re not the first school that comes to mind when you think of “money”. But reality is that we make up for it with Friday night basketball, the All Write festival, the mr Webster pageant, acapella concerts, and so much more. Go statesmen!

Yes, I go to Webster Groves High School and no, I won’t tell you what a statesman is.
