Merike is usually a woman that is independent and loves cats. Lots of cats. She doesn't like if somebody is teaching her, but likes to learn sth by herself. Merikes are found in gym or on track working out. They have good memory and they like to read a lot.

The merlion is a hybrid between a lion and a fish. In Singapore, there is a merlion statue / fountain which expels water from its mouth into the sea. It is a national attraction and an icon that attracts lots of tourists everyday.

'to do the merlion' is a term to describe people who vomits non-stop in a violent nature - similar to what the merlion which 'pukes' out tons of water every second.

Usually meant to describe people who pukes for long duration after excessive drinking or encountering something extremely offensive.

After the dinner and all that alcohol, John did the merlion in the toilet the entire night

Merlin

As we all know in english class sometimes our teacher will makes us watch Merlin. So Merlin is a show on netflix that has really good english speaking actors that can speak perfect english. Thats why english teachers makes us watch it. Also the show is about a teen around the 18th century and he lives in a town that the king has banned magic. Also as you guessed he has magic and he is also the princes survant. He is trying his best to protect the kingdom from all sorts of things and also trying to hide is magic abilities. To understand it better you need to start watching the series.
