Purist

Someone who wants no change to their favorite video game series. They are the reason why some series become stagnant with no new ideas because fanboys whine about them, so when the new games come out, they can complain about how similar it is to predecessor and thrive on old games. They contribute absolutely nothing to the future of video games.

While it's true that great games should never change their formula to the point that it alienates their fans, purists take it too far and seem to be against any good new ideas that may affect their series in one way or the other.

Purists will whine about any new change that comes their way. Whether it was multiplayer in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, third party characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, or any idea not mentioned by the creators for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, a purist will continue to whine that their series must stay the same until we all die.

UFC Purist

The term "UFC Purist" is used to describe a noob Mixed Martial Arts fan who only watches and keeps up with MMA fights/fighters within the UFC. Most UFC Purists actually believe that UFC is a sport. Alot of them have been proven to not even know what MMA is. These kind of noobs idolize fighters such as Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, Randy Couture, Matt Hughes, Brock Lesnar, Blow Job Penn etc. UFC Purists can be found anywhere in the Youtube website leaving STUPID, USELESS, POINTLESS, AND UNEDUCATED comments on MMA videos.

If you believe Brock Lesnar would ever beat Fedor Emelianenko, you are a UFC Purist.

If you thought Shogun was gonna lose to Chuck Liddell before their fight you my friend are a UFC Purist.

If someone mentions PRIDE and/or PRIDE fighters and you have no clue what they're talking about, you guessed it! UFC Purist.

A country purist expects all country music to be honky-tonk and feeling sorry for yourself. A punk purist expects all punk to anarchist and government-hating. A metal purist expects all metal to be about fantasy things like dragons and knights, or about sex, drugs, and rock and roll and have instrumental solos. An R&B purist expects all R&B to have horns in the music. A rap/hip hop purist expects all rap/hip hop to have swearing and bragging. A jazz purist expects all jazz to be instrumental only. A pop purist expects all pop to be like the teen pop of the 1980s and 1990s. A folk/ singer/songwriter purist expects all folk/singer/songwriter albums to just the singer's voice and either an acoustic guitar, a piano, or all three of these.

A total idiot that senselessly complains into empty space about anime after it's been dubbed. Even though nobody's really forcing them to watch the dub. They call it a "disgrace" "Butchery" or even "#%^@&"; even though nobody normal cares. Although some don't do this.
Their main enimy is 4kids.
