Is never an elite but rather the majority of Filipinos who seeks nothing but for the uplift the state of livelihood of all Filipinos in the D and E sector. It is an awareness that if the D and E sectors are eliminated and their lives are uplifted hence, they are no longer prone to dictation on who to vote and can no longer consider patronage politics/voting and can no longer be manipulated by most traditional political leaders.

Most “Pinklawan” volunteers are giving their share in contributing for the spread of disinformation campaign initiated by corrupt political officials for the benefit and or for the destruction of a targeted personality and or groups.

Pinklawan is used to describe those people who believe and fight for good governance. Pinklawan is derived from the Ideals generated from the pink movement that upholds truth, facts and fights corruption, and dilawan represents the yellow color that was brought about by the heroism of not just one man but so many who suffred ans died from the injustices brought by Martial Law.

The pinklawans believe that corruption must be eradicated from all the branches of government hence they voted for VP Leni Robredo who has clean track record in all her years as a politician.
