When you put too much Nesquik chocolate syrup in your milk and it becomes so thick and gritty that you laugh when you try and drink it because your friend is sitting next to you yelling "I LOVE THE NITTY GRITTY"!!

1 cup Nesquik syrup

Nitty-Gritty

“Nitty-Gritty” originated in midst of the 18th century slave trade. Ships often carried slaves in the cargo holds below deck and nitty-gritty now means getting to the bottom of it. This is a derogatory reference to the slaves which were held at the bottom of the vessel.
