dolla niney 8

The Dolla Niney 8 slang a plastic soda bottle filled with concrete with metal handle attached (improvised club or striking object). This device was used during the mid 1980's to rob and assault people for monetary gain.

Used by Street criminals heavily during the proliferation of ATM machines the dolla niney 8 became such a problem in the Los Angeles Area at ATM locations that many banks shut down ATMs at night to protect bank customers from criminal organizations that preyed upon ATM users.

This tool was made famous and was to have been invented by a street thug named Nipesy Tyrone Washington aka jiggaboo jones in 1990.

"Yo homie I came up last night on a dolla niney 8 trip to the ATM"
