On November 5th, 2020, the CW show Supernatural aired a controversial episode in which a lead character, Castiel, confessed his love for the main character, Dean. Fans have been shipping the duo for 12 years, with the ship name “Destiel” (aka Deancas). The Supernatural fandom is one of the most vicious, and Destiel is a name known to nearly every Tumblr user. So, when it finally became canon after 12 years, 11 seasons, of queerbaiting, chaos ensued. The tag “destiel” trended higher on every social media platform than the US election that was going on at the time.
Memes were created. After the episode aired, someone started a rumor that Russian leader Vladimir Putin was resigning. How did everyone find out? Through Destiel memes. For ~12 hours, everyone was convinced that Putin was really stepping down. The next day, the Kremlin scrambled to deny it. This fiasco will forever correspond with Destiel, and honestly that’s hilarious.
While all this was going on, the US election was as well. Americans were stressed as one of the most crucial elections in modern history was taking place. Nevada, Georgia, and Pennsylvania were all important states in determining the next President of the USA. Unfortunately, all three states were taking a long time to report the votes. This was largely due to the current president, Donald Trump, suing those states for voter fraud. Georgia turned blue, as well as Pennsylvania. Everyone got the news from Destiel memes.

In other words, all organized religion is almost definitely false, according to deists. Deists technically are embracing an argument from ignorance. However, this is different from a typical argument from ignorance, because the premise is very different. For example, a deist will propose there must be an original creator of existence because, if you follow the logic of a god's existence, you must forever continue asking "who created god? Who created the creator of that God? Etc."
Deism is basically a "first cause" proposition, meaning they believe in a higher power or a god creating the universe, but this higher power/god must necessarily transcend time itself, because everything we know inside of time follows the basic laws of time (having a beginning and end). But, if everything has a beginning, there is never a true beginning of existence itself. That true beginning must have a higher power (or a god). Something without a beginning (transcending time itself) must have formed the universe, ultimately, even if there were previous universes that spawned our current universe in which we live.
